How to conquer pain while simultaneously avoiding damage to your health

Pain is an unpleasant and often life-changing feeling. The body uses pain as a warning system to inform us about problems in our body.

The tissues, organs, and functional systems of our bodies tell us about their problems in the form of pain. In the evolutionary sense, pain is a critical ability of the body to react to unfavourable environmental conditions as well as respond in time to a deterioration of the internal state.

However, instead of a carrying out a necessary and timely communicative function, pain often becomes a cause of suffering.

Over time, repeated and aggravated pain reactions become a critical problem, not only changing our emotional state but also how we perceive the world.

Pain can turn days and nights into an uninterrupted series of suffering, fundamentally deteriorating the quality of our lives.

The vast majority of people are not willing to put up with this situation, so we go to visit doctors. We expect the doctors to recommend that we take some painkillers; in general, the strongest ones are available by prescription only.

For some time, the safety of prescription analgesics was only checked in terms of their effectiveness. Possible long-term effects that may be faced in the future were not investigated at all.

The results of a large-scale study were published in the British academic journal “PLOS ONE” in December 2017. More than 133,000 European participants were included in the study.

The essence of this research conducted by scientists from the University of Newcastle in the UK was to evaluate the relationship between obesity and cardiovascular disease with the long-term use of prescribed painkillers.

British researchers were anxious to start the research due to the fact that over the past 20 years, the overall volume of consumption of strong painkillers in the world increased dramatically. In just the UK, the number of prescriptions for painkillers with opiates rose from 12,000 in 2006 to more than 24,000 in 2016.

The most important conclusion of this study is that taking strong prescribed analgesics has a stronger adverse long-term effect that was even worse than initially predicted in the most pessimistic predictions.

Among those who took prescription pain medication, there was an increase in the percentage of obesity of 95%!

The visceral fat mass in the waist area increased by 82% while the rates of hypertension increased by 63%. Furthermore, these changes were not witnessed in the control group of patients who also suffered from a comparable set of diseases but did not take strong painkillers.

Dr. Sophie Cassidy, the head of the research project at the Institute of Cellular Medicine in Newcastle University, after assessing the findings said that the intake of prescribed painkillers should be strictly limited in intake frequency and should preferably be a one-time action—especially if it contains opiates.

On the one hand, the use of painkillers stops the pain but also hurts the entire body by damaging the most important regulatory and metabolic systems.

Therefore, many of us will ask a reasonable question: “What should we do if the pain doesn’t let me live a normal life?”

For now, people only have one reliable option that is safe over a long-term: to use time-proven natural plant-based remedies—at least, until medical science comes up with genuinely safe synthetic painkillers.

Herbal anesthetics have very few adverse side effects and often provide extra support making the body’s functions stronger.

It’s true that the strength of plant-based painkillers is often weaker than the strength of prescribed pharmacological substances. However, some complex natural remedies that reduce pain and consist of several plant components are available on the market.

One of the most recent and most effective representatives of this multicomponent pain medication group was created by Mineral Medix, a Canadian natural supplement company. In 2018, this product entered the market under the name of Analgesic Defender.

There are no dangerous synthetic ingredients in this new plant-based complex that can be addictive or have a significant adverse impact on the body.

Analgesic Defender ” is available in capsules made from raw plant-based materials; it also has a convenient dosage of two capsules, taken twice daily.

Each capsule consists of:

  • Sage (Salvia officinalis)– – 350 mg. A potent combination of essential oils (especially D-a-pinene), alkaloids, and flavonoids enable sage to have an anti-inflammatory effect as well as the ability to contribute to strengthening the entire nervous system.

Also, the active components of sage provide an astringent and antiseptic effect. These effects can help the body in the fight against the cause of certain gastrointestinal diseases.

  • Dandelion root (Dandelion, Taraxacum officinalis– 250 mg. The unique combination of dandelion root, consisting of tryptic compounds, inulin, and biologically active glycerides, allows this medicinal plant to have calming and spasmolytic effects. It also helps us fall asleep easier.

The dandelion root also contributes to the normalization of the entire digestive system.

  • White Willow bark (Salix alba, root bark)15% Salicin, extract 10:1 equivalent, QCE 1000 mg) – 100 mg.

White willow bark provides analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects since it contains natural β-glucoside salicin and a rich complex of tannins as active substances. In addition, it contains flavonoids which have an antifungal effect.

Historically, salicin, extracted from the bark of white willow, is a precursor and natural analogue of acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), which is the most prominent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug on Earth.

Even though the natural form of salicin acts slower than aspirin, it works for more extended periods of time and generally has significantly fewer side effects. Salicin has a lower risk of gastric bleeding, which is the main drawback of aspirin.

Overall, “Analgesic Defender” can provide an effective painkilling effect for low intensity back and lumbar pain, headaches, and joint pain.

The natural plant-based ingredients of Analgesic Defender not only have significantly fewer side effects in comparison with synthetic agents but also have a health-improving impact.

You do not have to suffer and passively accept pain—however, it is important to fight it mindfully using natural complexes that are safe for the body based on known and proven plant components
